What is child check mate?

The “Child Check-Mate System” is a patented unique alarm system which acts as an electronic reminder to drivers.

This reminder helps ensure that all children have safely disembarked the vehicle upon completion of each run.


How does the system work?

A button is placed at the back of the vehicle and will be required to be pushed by the driver once the vehicles ignition has been turned off. The driver then checks all seats and floor areas for any children that have not disembarked the vehicle as they make their way to the back of the vehicle.

If the button is not pushed after a certain time an alarm will sound. Again if the button is not pushed the vehicles horn will be activated and if connected to our GPS tracking product an email/SMS can be sent out.

Did you also know that it is a requirement as a contactor for School Bus Services Western Australia that every bus must have a Child Check-Mate system fitted
